MY INCREDIBLE WEEKEND

It's midnight -ish.
I have been listening to the mix of my first
single non-stop for way too long. All last
week the world stood understandably still for
moments of grief. It has been hard to even
THINK about my music or anything other than
the future of mankind. But we made an effort to try and move forward this week and
celebrate life. The first step for me has been getting on with mixing my record.

I have to tell you that I think this thing is incredible. I can't stop listening to it. I'm so
terrible with presents. Whenever I buy a birthday gift for someone I'm too impatient to
wait for the actual day or to wrap it.. and often end up wanting to give it to them immediately.Well tonight is like that... I want to tell you the name, play it for you, describe the video. BUT I CAN'T!! All I can tell you is that this album is the thing I'm most proud of. We are indeed mixing the record for the next few weeks. It's so cool to be able to let go of my 'babies' and trust them to Chris Lord-Alge so he can spray his magic dust all over everything. I'm hearing little sounds and details that I never even knew were there.So that's where it's at. Mixing like crazy. Album and photoshoot in 6 weeks. Hopefully single to radio end December. Something wonderful in the new year.
Oh. And one more thing.
I had an INCREDIBLE weekend.
